Class Trip - History of Our Land
Although we just began the school year, we already had a beautiful and educational class trip through the Old City and surrounding area. Our Bnei Menashe class are learning about the history of our Land and especially Jerusalem. Chessed Begins at Home
Just like all of the Nation of Israel does Chessed; so too do the girls in Girls Town Jerusalem look for ways to help others. Our girls helped with stuffing Happy New Year newsletters which was sent to all our dear friends who do not have email addresses. The girls join with the staff at The Home and wish you and your loved ones a sweet, healthy and happy New Year. May we always consider the needs of those who are less fortunate.


Shofar Blowing Contest
The days before Rosh Hashana can get very heavy, especially coinciding with the new school year. To lighten the atmosphere our amazing staff created a fun-filled afternoon, the highlight being a shofar blowing contest. Their faces were red as the girls attempted blowing the shofar the longest. The shrill sounds filled the building, as the girls’ huff and puffed to win. Although there was one winner, each girl did succeed to blow, as her “sisters” offered encouragement. The
