Our girls helped with stuffing Happy New Year newsletters which was sent to all our dear friends who do not have email addresses. The days before Rosh Hashana can get very heavy, especially coinciding with the new school year. To lighten the atmosphere our amazing staff created a fun-filled afternoon, the highlight being a shofar blowing contest. Their faces were red as the girls attempted blowing the shofar the longest. The shrill sounds filled the building, as the girls’ huff and puffed to win. Although there was one winner, each girl did succeed to blow, as her “sisters” offered encouragement. The
